About the Artist

Heather Nagy is an accomplished fine artist residing in Orlando, Fla. She grew up in Michigan, where she earned her BFA from Western Michigan University. Upon graduation, Heather spent a year in Asia before moving to Central Florida in 2000. She practiced graphic design for many years before transitioning to a full-time professional artist in 2018.

Her vibrantly colored landscapes and botanical paintings invite the viewer to slow down and enjoy the world around them. She says you can find beauty anywhere if you slow down to look for it, and when we encounter beauty we find a renewal of hope. Heather has shown art at numerous galleries, festivals, and venues in Florida and beyond. She has had several solo shows around Central Florida and won several awards for her work at festivals around the state. Her work has been collected by art lovers around the country and beyond.

When she's not painting, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves hiking, biking, and exploring locally and in our National Parks.
