Central Florida Scenes

Heather Nagy finds inspiration in Orlando cityscapes and other Central Florida scenes. Even after living in a place for decades, she is continually amazed by the new things to discover. Nagy has dedicated collections to downtown Orlando, Celebration, Winter Park, Winter Garden, St. Augustine, and Wekiva Island, among others. When she started painting full time, Nagy knew she needed to find inspiration right where she lives. It became a practice for her to slow down, walk around, and rediscover familiar places, appreciating the beauty they hold. From a panoramic view, to a tree that's survived years of hurricanes to swans on the downtown lake. Through acrylic on canvas, Nagy skillfully portrays the unique charm and dynamics of these locations. Her artworks invite viewers to see these familiar landscapes through a new lens, capturing their essence with a blend of realism and artistic interpretation.
